The arrival of board members was warmly welcomed. Head of South Sumatra Province BPS, Mrs. Ir. Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, MM, and the council members then discussed the question "South Sumatra in numbers during the pandemic period".

"Public health is the main focus of South Sumatra during the pandemic. For this reason, South Sumatra has implemented PSBB twice. The PSBB has had an impact on the economy. South Sumatra's economic growth in 2020 also contracted 0.11%. However, this figure is still relatively sufficient. better than other provinces. South Sumatra's economic growth is the second highest on the island of Sumatra, "said Mrs. Percha.
