Hearing with the Chairperson of the South Sumatra DPRD

As a tangible manifestation of coordination, collaboration and synergy with various parties in South Sumatra, the Head of the Central Statistics Agency, Zulkipli, held an audience with the Chair of the South Sumatra DPRD on Monday (14/3) at the council secretariat office.

In his meeting, the Chairman of the Prov. Sumsel, R.A. Anita Noeringhati advised BPS to continue to update data, especially poverty data. "Several times I did recess, the aspirations of the community asked for the improvement of the poverty data incorporated in the PBI," said Anita. In addition, he also advised to improve coordination with the Dukcapil Office regarding population data, especially data on the poor. Responding to this, Zulkipli explained that the Ministry of Social Affairs had carried out updating poverty data this year, and it was only this year that it was handed back to BPS.

On this occasion, Anita also gave testimony regarding the Advanced SP2020 to invite the community to participate in the success of the Longform Population Census.
