The manifestation of the importance of data and the commitment to improve data governance in Indonesia was manifested in the Grand Launching of One Data Indonesia (SDI) Portal @data.go.id which was held in Jakarta today (23/12). This event is intended to realize the vision of Indonesia 2045 and the implementation of Presidential Regulation No. 39 of 2019. HR is directed to support national digital transformation, increase data literacy, and improve national data structures.
SDI is a government data management policy that aims to create quality data that is easily accessible and can be shared between central and regional agencies. Ultimately, through SDI, government data can flow through the same channel and portal, namely data.go.id.
Rudy S. Prawiradinata, Deputy for Development Monitoring, Evaluation and Control at the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas as the Coordinator of the One Data Indonesia Forum stated that SDI has experienced strengthening of foundations and support from various parties. "We hope that openness and collaboration on the SDI portal will increase in the future. So that ministries/agencies, Provincial Governments, and Regional Governments will be more involved in SDI," he explained in his speech. In addition, the implementation of the Gotong Royong Data workshop which was carried out this year also made the number of datasets connected to this portal increase significantly.
"We must work together and collaborate on data governance in this country. There should be no more sectoral egos and each agency produces data, so the data varies from one another," explained Suharso Monoarfa, Minister of PPN/Head of Bappenas as Chair. SDI Steering Committee.
The event was also attended by the Minister for Empowerment of the State Apparatus-Bureaucratic Reform, Head of the Central Bureau of Statistics, Head of the National Research and Innovation Agency, Head of the Geospatial Information Agency, representatives of the Ministry of Finance, representatives of the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, and representatives of the Ministry of Home Affairs as data trustees in SDI .
