Inauguration of the Aquascape Central Bureau of Statistics for South Sumatra Province

The Office of the Central Statistics Agency for South Sumatra Province Creates a 17.8 Meter Aquascape Aquarium. The construction of an aquascape in the office yard is a manifestation of the enthusiasm of all employees in welcoming the 2023 Agricultural Census. As we know, ST2023 will record all sub-sectors of agriculture, forestry and fisheries.

Now one of the commodities recorded is ornamental fish. Ornamental fish is a type of fish that lives in fresh water or in the sea which are kept not for consumption but to beautify the garden/space.

Wednesday (8/2), Head of BPS South Sumatra Province, Zulkipli accompanied by Head of Dharma Wanita Association of BPS South Sumatra Province, Umi Hamidah Prihayati, released as many as 500 ornamental fish types Baby Koi, Guppy and Glow Fish in the 17.8 meter long aquascape aquarium which is in front of the BPS office for South Sumatra Province.

This activity was attended by all employees and members of the Dharma Wanita Association (DWP) BPS South Sumatra Province. Previously, the South Sumatra BPS DWP held regular meetings with the theme "Making a Home Like a School, My Home My School"
