Audience With GAPKI and APKASINDO, Ready to Succeed in ST2023

BPS Sumsel conducted an audience with the Indonesian Palm Oil Association (GAPKI) and the Indonesian Palm Oil Farmers Association (APKASINDO) South Sumatra Representative on Wednesday (15/2).

Alex Sugiarto, Chairman of GAPKI Sumsel and his staff enthusiastic and fully support ST2023 in South Sumatra. On this occasion, an interesting discussion was also held about oil palm plantations in South Sumatra. Alex conveyed that accurate data, especially in the oil palm plantation sector, is very important for government policy making.

Head of South Sumatra BPS, Zulkipli also expressed his appreciation and hope and support for GAPKI for ST2023 and other agricultural sector data collection activities.

On another occasion, the vice chairman of APKASINDO Sumsel, M Yunus in a discussion with the Head of the General Section and the Head of the Production Statistics Team appealed to all farmer members of APKASINDO to provide truthful answers when collecting the Agricultural Census data for June - July 2023.
