How many agricultural companies are there in Indonesia?

In 2022, BPS will update the Directory of Agricultural Companies (DPP). This activity is one of a series of activities from the Agricultural Census 2023 (ST2023) which will be conducted in 2022. The aim is to obtain a complete and up-to-date directory of agricultural companies which will be used as the basis for a complete enumeration in 2023.

The agricultural companies covered are all agricultural companies with legal/business entities throughout Indonesia. Data collection in the field uses data from related agencies/services or other informants who can provide information/information about business activities/agricultural companies.

There were 5,653 companies that were successfully listed. Compared to the results of updating the DPP in 2012, there were an additional 1,444 business units.
