Bumi Sriwijaya Application: From BPS for Villages

BPS South Sumatra Province held a Coffee Morning event on Utilization of Village Data in the "Desa Bumi Sriwijaya" application in the Hall of the BPS South Sumatra Province Office, Friday (17/3). The event was attended by the leadership of Bank Indonesia, DJPB Regional Office, vertical agencies and OPD within the Provincial Government. South Sumatra.

 Sultan M.Syah, S.E., S.H., M.M. representing Bappeda of South Sumatra Province delivered material related to Utilization of Micro Data for Development Planning. Meanwhile, Head of BPS South Sumatra Province Dr. Ir. Zulkipli, M.Sc. Accompanied by Sabit Huraira's IT Team, S.S.T. explained comprehensively regarding the Utilization of Village Data in the Bumi Sriwijaya Village Application.

 Bumi Sriwijaya Village is part of the development of the Beautiful Village program (Desa Cinta Statistik) in a data management platform for all villages/sub-districts throughout South Sumatra which involves all stakeholders, from OPD to village officials. The purpose of developing the Sriwijaya Earth Village application is to provide and manage all types of spatial-based data ranging from population information to social and economic infrastructure.

 The discussion went quite interesting. Appreciation and important input were conveyed by the heads of institutions and OPD. In the future, we hope that the Sriwijaya Bumi Village application can provide benefits for development policy making in South Sumatra, especially from, by and for villages.
