Acceleration of regional development in a fair and equitable manner through quality IKK data

One of the variables used to calculate the DAU is the Construction Expensive Index (IKK). KPI is an index that describes the level of price comparison of construction goods between regions. To calculate the IKK, data on construction prices and wages is required which is obtained from the Construction Expensive Price Survey (SHKK) which is carried out 4 times a year in all districts/cities in Indonesia.

Tuesday (13/06), the BPS of South Sumatra Province held an IKK Regional Reconciliation to ensure the fairness and comparability of construction price data between regencies/cities throughout South Sumatra before the IKK data was brought to the National Reconciliation.

The reconciliation event was opened by the Head of BPS for South Sumatra Province, Moh Wahyu Yulianto and attended by the persons in charge of SHKK BPS activities for districts/cities throughout South Sumatra. In his remarks, Wahyu conveyed the importance of quality IKK data in supporting the acceleration of regional development in a fair and equitable manner, especially in the Province of South Sumatra.
