Discussion of Publication based on The Long Form 2020 Population Census

After launching the results of the Long Form 2020 Population Census (LF-PC2020) simultaneously at the central and provincial BPS levels in January 2023, more complete results will be disseminated through the publication based on the LF-PC2020. Data from the LF-PC2020 will be presented in the form of tables and analysis according to the needs of data users in the form of “Publication of Sumatera Selatan Province Population The Result of Long Form Population Census 2020”, “Publication of Sumatera Selatan Province Statistics of Migration ”, and “Publication of Population Thematic Analysis of the Result of Long Form 2020 Population Census”.

The three publications are planned to be released in the near future. In order to produce an effective, efficient and comprehensive publications and also to answer the needs of data users, especially in the Province of Sumatera Selatan, it is necessary to involve relevant agencies, academics and experts prior to release in order to consolidate or obtain input on the data to be released. Then, on Tuesday (27/6) at Santika Radial Hotel Palembang, a meeting was held to discuss the publication based on the LF-PC2020.

The Long Form 2020 Population Census Results Discussion event was opened directly by the Chief Statistician of BPS - Statistics of Sumatera Selatan Province, Moh Wahyu Yulianto S.Si, SST, M.Si. Followed by a panel discussion by presenting speakers from Sriwijaya University, Dr. dra. Negyanti, M.Hum and from the Regional Research and Development Agency for Sumatera Selatan Province, Dr. Dian Novriadhy, ST, M.Si. Many new inputs and insights were obtained from sources and participants to improve the publication based on the LF-PC2020.
