Reconciliation of the 3rd Quarter of 2023 GDRP on Regency/Municipality Level in Sumatera Selatan

In order to fulfill the BPS strategic data for South Sumatra Province, namely Economic Growth, which is always awaited by policy makers and interested stakeholders, BPS is committed to providing this strategic data quickly and accurately.

Before the Economic Growth data is released, BPS first reconciles the data to ensure quality and minimize discrepancies between provincial and regencies/municipalities figures. This event invites representatives from all regencies/municipalities in South Sumatra to reconcile GRDP according to business fields and according to expenditure.

The goal of this reconciliation is to obtain quality data from the collection of GRDP data so that economic growth data is produced that reflects the conditions of each region.

BPS South Sumatra Province held this simultaneous reconciliation activity for 2 days on 22-23 November 2023 at the BPS Sumatra Selatsn Province Office.
