Discussion of Food Crop Productivity Subround 3 2023

The agricultural sector is one of the important sectors in economic development both nationally and regionally. Food crops are a sub-sector in the agricultural sector which also has an important and strategic role in development.

In order to produce quality statistical data on food crops, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of South Sumatra Province carried out the discussion of Food Crop Productivity Figures Subround 3 for 2023 on Thursday (25/1). This online event was opened directly by the Head of BPS South Sumatra Province, Mr. Moh Wahyu Yulianto, S.Si.SST.M.Si. This activity was attended by the team leader and members of the South Sumatra Province BPS agricultural statistics team and all heads of BPS Regency/City food crop statistics teams throughout South Sumatra. In this event, an evaluation of the 2023 Ubinan Survey activities and 2024 Agricultural Activity Planning was carried out as well as an award was given to BPS Regency/City for the Best Ubinan Survey Activities in 2023.
