Abstract

• The South Sumatra Province Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) in September 2020 was recorded at 96.49 or an increase of 2.46 percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was influenced by the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which increased by an average of 2.50 percent, while the average Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) only increased by 0.03 percent.

• The increase in NTP in September 2020 was influenced by the increase in NTP in almost all subsectors which increased respectively: Food Crops 0.49 percent, Horticulture 0.69 percent, Plantation 3.37 percent, Fisheries in general 0.84 percent, Capture Fisheries 1, 12 percent and 0.45 percent Aquaculture. Meanwhile, the sub-sector that experienced a decline was Animal Husbandry, which fell by 0.37 percent.

• In September 2020, in South Sumatra, there was rural inflation of 0.05 percent due to the increase in the average index price in the Food, Beverage and Tobacco expenditure group which increased by 0.03 percent, Clothing and Footwear by 0.12 percent, Housing, Water, Electricity and Household Fuels 0.25 percent, Equipment, Equipment and Household Routine Maintenance 0.01 percent, health 0.01 percent and Personal Care and Other Services 0.32 percent. Meanwhile, the group that experienced a decline was transportation by 0.10 percent. Meanwhile, the other groups did not change.

• The South Sumatra Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) September 2020 was 96.40 or an increase of 2.52 percent compared to NTUP in the previous month.
