Exports in October 2020 were mostly aimed at China amounting to US $ 120.26 million (36.16 percent), India at US $ 27.32 million (8.21 percent) and Malaysia amounting to US $ 24.64 million (7 , 41 percent).

 The five main export commodities from South Sumatra Province which were the largest in October 2020 were rubber valued at US $ 124.19 million (37.34 percent); pulp / pulp worth US $ 105.42 million (31.69 percent); coal worth US $ 41.69 million (12.53 percent); palm oil and its fractions US $ 11.75 million (3.53 percent), and oil and gas US $ 9.81 (2.94 percent).
