Sumatra Selatan Province in May 2021 experienced inflation of 0.01 percent

Abstract

Palembang Municipality in May 2021 experienced deflation of 0.02 percent, Inflation for the Calendar Year (Cumulative) until May 2021 was 0.84 percent. While the "Year on Year" Annual Inflation (May 2021 to May 2020) was 1.41 percent. The dominant commodities that caused deflation in May 2021 in Palembang Municipality, among others: red chili, broiler meat, cayenne pepper, and shallots, which experienced a decline in prices compared to the average price in April 2021.

Lubuk Linggau Municipality in May 2021 experienced inflation of 0.34 percent, Calendar Year Inflation (Cumulative) until May 2021 of 0.84 percent. “Year on Year” Annual Inflation (May 2021 to May 2020) of 2.02 percent. The dominant commodities that cause inflation in Lubuk Linggau Municipality include: air transportation, broiler eggs, purebred chicken meat, gold jewelry, and household fuel which have increased compared to the average price in April 2021.

Sumatra Selatan Province in May 2021 experienced inflation of 0.01 percent, Calendar Year inflation (cumulative) until May 2021 of 0.84 percent. While the "Year on Year" Annual Inflation (May 2021 to May 2020) was 1.46 percent.
