Abstract
The Paddy
harvested area in 2021 will reach around 496.24 thousand hectares, a decrease
of 55.08 thousand hectares or 9.99 percent compared to 2020 which was 551.32
thousand hectares.
Paddy production
in 2021 is 2,552.44 thousand tons of GKG, a decrease of 190.62 thousand tons of
GKG or 6.95 percent compared to 2020 which was 2,743.06 thousand tons of GKG.
Rice
production in 2021 for the population's food consumption will reach 1,465.75
thousand tons, a decrease of 109.46 thousand tons or 6.95 percent compared to
rice production in 2020 which was 1,575.22 thousand tons.

In 2022, the rice harvest area will reach around 513.38 thousand hectares with production of 2,775.07 thousand tons of GKG
In 2024, the rice harvest area will reach 521.09 thousand hectares with rice production of 2.91 million tons GKG.
Paddy Harvested Area of Sumatera Selatan in 2023 Reached 504.14 Thousand Hectares while Paddy Production is 2,832.77 Thousand Tons of Dry Unhusked Paddy (GKG)
Paddy Harvested Area of Sumatera Selatan in 2023 Reached Approximately 502.16 Thousand Hectares while Paddy Production is 2,762.06 Thousand Tons of Dry Unhusked Paddy (GKG).
In 2020, the rice harvested area will be as big as 551.32 thousand hectares with a production of 2.74 million tonnes of GKG. If converted to rice, rice production is at 2020 to reach 1.57 million tons.
