Trade Balance of Sumatera Selatan in May 2022 Surplus US$552.63 million

Abstract

The export value of South Sumatra in May 2022 reached US$618.92 million, down 11.46 percent compared to exports in April 2022. Compared to May 2021, the export value rose by 72.11 percent.
The value of South Sumatra's imports in May 2022 reached US$66.29 million, a decrease of 14.63 percent compared to April 2022, and an increase of 1.03 percent compared to May 2021.
South Sumatra's trade balance in May 2022 experienced a surplus of US$552.63 million from the non-oil and gas sector of US$530.22 million, and the oil and gas sector of US$22.41 million.
