Abstract

  • The combination of 2 cities in Sumatera Selatan Province in September 2022 experienced inflation of 1.26 percent, Inflation for the 2022 Calendar Year (cumulative) until September 2022 was 5.60 percent. “Year on Year” Annual Inflation (September 2022 to September 2021) of 6.70 percent. The dominant commodities that caused inflation in September 2022 in Sumatera Selatan, namely: gasoline, rice, tariffs for online 2-wheeled vehicles, diesel and urban transportation, experienced a significant price increase compared to the average price in August 2022.

  • The city of Palembang in September 2022 experienced inflation of 1.28 percent, Inflation for the 2022 Calendar Year (cumulative) from January to September 2022 was 5.61 percent. “Year on Year” Annual Inflation (September 2022 to September 2021) of 6.72 percent. 

  • Lubuk Linggau City in September 2022 experienced inflation of 1.04 percent, Inflation for the 2022 Calendar Year (cumulative) from January to September 2022 was 5.50 percent. “Year on Year” Annual Inflation (September 2022 to September 2021) of 6.50 percent.

  • Based on price monitoring during September 2022 in 90 CPI cities throughout Indonesia, it shows that 88 CPI cities experienced inflation, while 2 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Bukit Tinggi City at 1.87 percent, while the lowest inflation occurred in Merauke City at 0.07 percent. The highest deflation occurred in Manokwari City at 0.64 percent, while the lowest deflation occurred in Timika City at 0.59 percent.
