Abstract

  • In September 2022, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Selatan through the entrance to Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin Airport (SMB) II Palembang was recorded as only 4 visits.

  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in September 2022 was 50.37 percent, a decrease of 0.49 points compared to the previous month's TPK which was recorded at 50.86 percent. While the TPK for non-star hotels for September 2022 was recorded at 19.85 percent.
  • The highest ROR for star hotels in September 2022 occurred in 5-star hotels, which was 59.76 percent and the lowest was in 2-star hotels, which was 38.75 percent.
  • The average length of stay of guests at star hotels in September 2022 reached 1.36 days, a decrease of 0.20 points compared to August 2022 which was recorded at 1.56 days.
  • The average length of stay of foreign guests at star hotels in September 2022 is higher than the average length of stay of Indonesian guests.
