South Sumatra Province Goods Trade Balance in March 2023 Surplus of US$ 579.23 Million

Abstract

South Sumatra's export value in March 2023 reached US$641.19 million, an increase of 16.59 percent compared to exports in February 2023. Compared to March 2022, the export value fell by 0.52 percent.
  • Non-oil and gas exports in March 2023 reached US$607.96 million, up 16.86 percent compared to February 2023. Compared to March 2022, non-oil and gas exports fell by 3.17 percent.
  • Cumulatively, the export value of South Sumatra from January to March 2023 reached US$1,770.19 million, an increase of 23.12 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
  • The largest export share in March 2023 was China at US$316.02 million, India at US$76.35 million, and Malaysia at US$46.96 million.
  • Cumulatively, South Sumatra's largest export value from January to March 2023 was directed to China in the amount of US$808.28 million, India in the amount of US$163.59 million, and Malaysia in the amount of US$136.58 million, with the contribution of the three of them reaching 62.62 million.
