Abstract

  • In September 2024, the level of expenditure inequality among the Sumatran population
    The South is measured with a Gini Ratio of 0.331. This figure fell by 0.002 points
    compared to the Gini Ratio in March 2024 which was 0.333.
  • The Gini Ratio in urban areas in September 2024 was recorded at 0.357, an increase of 0.357
    0.005 points compared to the March 2024 Gini Ratio of 0.352.
  • The Gini Ratio in rural areas in September 2024 was recorded at 0.300, down 0.005
    points compared to the March 2024 Gini Ratio of 0.305.
  • Based on the World Bank's measure of inequality, the distribution of expenditure on
    the bottom 40 percent group was 20.37 percent. This means expenses

    low. If broken down by region, in urban areas it was recorded at 19.32
