Abstract

  • South Sumatra's NTP in April 2025 fell by 7.12 percent compared to last month's NTP, from 132.94 to 123.47.
  • The decline in the April 2025 NTP was influenced by the decline in the NTP in almost all subsectors, where each fell; Food Crops Subsector by 1.85 percent, Plantations 8.82 percent, Livestock 1.38 percent, Fisheries 1.29 percent, Capture Fisheries 1.26 percent and Aquaculture 1.29 percent. Meanwhile, the NTP of the subsector that increased was the Horticulture subsector by 3.70 percent.
  • In April 2025, the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of South Sumatra Province increased by 1.58 percent, from 126.09 to 128.09.
  • The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) of South Sumatra Province in April 2025 was 127.72 or down 6.21 percent compared to the NTUP of the previous month.
