Abstract
a. The export value of South Sumatra in March 2025 reached US$575.54 million, a decrease of 10.91 percent compared to February 2025. However, compared to February 2024, the export value increased by 14.40 percent.
b. The main export commodities in March 2025 were coal, rubber and rubber products, as well as wood pulp.
c. The import value of South Sumatra in March 2025 amounted to US$60.38 million, down by 7.13 percent compared to February 2025, and showing a significant decrease of 68.91 percent compared to March 2024.
d. South Sumatra’s trade balance in March 2025 recorded a surplus of US$515.16 million, consisting of US$489.15 million from the non-oil and gas sector and US$26.01 million from the oil and gas sector.
