The NTP of South Sumatra Province in May 2025 was recorded at 125.01 or an increase of 1.24 percent compared to the NTP of the previous month.

Abstract

South Sumatra's NTP in May 2025 increased by 1.24 percent compared to last month's NTP, from 123.47 to 125.01.
The increase in the NTP in May 2025 was influenced by the increase in the NTP in almost all subsectors, where each increased; Food Crops Subsector by 2.04 percent, Plantations by 1.06 percent, Livestock by 3.73 percent, Fisheries by 0.22 percent, Capture Fisheries by 0.14 percent and Aquaculture by 0.35 percent. Meanwhile, the NTP of the subsector that decreased was the Horticulture subsector by 1.01 percent.
In May 2025, the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of South Sumatra Province decreased by 0.67 percent, from 128.09 to 127.23.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for South Sumatra Province in May 2025 was 128.27 or an increase of 0.43 percent compared to the NTUP of the previous month.
