n accordance with the mandate of Law No. 16 of 1997 on Statistics, As well as referring to some of the FAO recommendations that have established "The World Program for the 2010 Around Agricultural Censuses Covering Period 2006-2015", the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) held the 2013 Agricultural Census (ST2013), which is the sixth Agricultural Census since it was first held on 1963. he first stage of ST2013 is the Complete Enumeration of Agricultural Enterprises Which was conducted in May 2013, where the results report, entitled Book of Agricultural Census Result Report 2013 (Enumeration), has been published some time ago. To complement the publication, and to better utilize the ST2013 results, BPS of South Sumatera Province publishes the book Analysis of Complete Data Collection of Agriculture Census 2013 Potential of Agriculture of South Sumatra. The purpose of the publication of this book is to identify opportunities and challenges of the agricultural sector in South Sumatra, identify potential sub-sectors and their characteristics, identify prospects for further operations in agricultural production, and describe current agricultural policies and their future direction
