Statistics Indonesia of Sumatera Selatan held Focus Group Discussion of IDI

The Indonesian Democracy Index (IDI) is a composite indicator that shows the level of development of democracy in Indonesia. The methodology for calculating IDI uses four data sources, namely local newspaper reviews, document reviews, Focus Group Discussions (FGD), and in-depth interviews.

On 21-22 April 2021, BPS South Sumatra Province held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) of IDI South Sumatra Province through a zoom meeting. The event was opened by the Head of South Sumatra Province BPS, Ir. Endang Tri Wahyuningsih MM. Served as a facilitator, namely the Coordinator of the Social Statistics Function, Drs. Timbul Parulian Silitonga M.Si.

Attended by representatives of organizations, government agencies, and political parties, the IDI FGD is expected to be able to collect events that have not been recorded in the newspaper coding and document reviews that have been carried out by the IDI TEAM BPS South Sumatra Province.
