Governor confirms Ir. Zulkipli, M.Si as Head of Statistics Indonesia - Sumatera Selatan Province

Located at Griya Agung, South Sumatra Province, Friday, June 4, 2021, Governor H. Herman Deru inaugurated Ir. Zulkipli, M.Si as Head of BPS South Sumatra Province.

The Inauguration ceremony was witnessed directly by the Main Inspector of BPS RI, Drs. Akhmad Jaelani, M.Si, who came from Jakarta. In his speech, Mr. Jaelani quoted a saying "where the earth is stepped on there the sky is upheld", as a message to Mr. Zulkipli.

Meanwhile, the Governor of South Sumatra, H. Herman Deru, advised, “As a new person in South Sumatra, the Head of BPS Prov. The new South Sumatra must adapt quickly in order to be able to "One Frequency" with partners in the South Sumatra Provincial Government".

The Inauguration event was held face-to-face by prioritizing progress and was attended by all Heads of BPS Regency/City throughout South Sumatra. Also attending were several heads of provincial government offices/agencies/OPD.
