FGD Publication of Sumatera Selatan Province in Figures 2023 and Development of Sectoral Statistics

On Wednesday (15/02), the Central Bureau of Statistics for Sumatera Selatan Province held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) event on published data for Sumatera Selatan Province in Figures 2023 and development of sectoral statistics at The Alts Hotel Palembang. The FGD was attended by leaders/representatives of the Regional Police, Bank Indonesia Representative for Sumatera Selatan, DPRD Secretariat, OPD, Indonesian Ombudsman Representative for Sumatera Selatan, Statistical Agent for Sriwijaya University, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Library, and media partners.

The event was opened directly by the Head of BPS for Sumatera Selatan Province, Dr. Ir. Zulkipli, M.Sc.. In his remarks, Zulkipli conveyed the importance of developing innovations in Bumi Sriwijaya Village in supporting more effective and efficient dissemination in the future.

The agenda for the FGD included the presentation of material on evaluation of published data for Sumatera Selatan Province and the Statistics Corner by Rika Yurista, S.S.T, material for metadata and statistical recommendations by M. Irfan Zulfahmi, S.Tr.Stat., and material related to BPS innovation for South Sumatra Province by Sayyid Abdurrahman, S.Tr.Stat..
