Data Collection for Distribution Statistics Routine Survey in South Sumatra

In order to meet the need for data to support the compilation of Gross Domestic Product (GDP), the Deputy for Distribution Statistics conducts various routine surveys every year. Routine surveys carried out include the Inter-Regional Trade Survey (SPAW), the Distribution Pattern Survey, and the Quarterly Survey of Integrated Business Activities (STKU). In addition to the three surveys, this year a Market Profile Survey and an Integrated Trade Survey Trial were also carried out which were an integration of the SPAW and the Distribution Pattern Survey.

Currently in each province data collection activities are ongoing from all of these surveys, including the Province of South Sumatra. Enumerators are working hard to obtain data from respondents, all of whom are large, medium and small business actors who are spread to remote areas of South Sumatra. Tirelessly, the data collectors dedicate their energy, thought and time to obtain complete and accurate data in order to realize one of BPS' missions as a provider of quality statistics with national and international standards.
