BPS of Sumatera Selatan Province Held Workshop for Coordination of GFCF 2023

To support the success of Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) disaggregation in the framework of compiling Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) by Expenditure, BPS Sumatera Selatan held a 2023 GFCF Disaggregation Coordination Workshop at The Excelton Palembang Hotel on Monday, May 22 2023.

The workshop began with a welcome speech by the Head of BPS Sumatera Selatan Province, Moh. Wahyu Yulianto, followed by remarks from the keynote speaker Deputy of Neraca Wilayah dan Analisis Statistik at Badan Pusat Statistik, Moh. Edy Mahmud who also officially opened the event. Presentation from resource persons from the Investment and One-Stop Services Office, the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Sumatera Selatan Province, the Financial Services Authority (OJK) Regional Office 7 of South Sumatra, and the Representqtive Council of Indonesian Shipowners Association (INSA) Palembang further enriched the insights of the workshop participants regarding Gross Fixed Capital Formation.

This event also invited representatives from agencies, offices, companies, business associations/associations, banks and hospitals who are also respondents of the ongoing 2023 GFCF Disaggregation Survey.

With the implementation of this workshop, it is hoped that the response rate of the GFCF Disaggregation Survey will increase and show better quality of content. (NWAS)
