Training of National Labor Force Survey February 2024 Regional Instructure

On Monday (15/1) the opening ceremony for Regional Instructor (Inda) National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) February 2024 training was held. The training was opened directly by the Chief of Statistics of Sumatera Selatan Province, Mr. Moh Wahyu Yulianto S.Si.SST.M.Si. This activity was attended by 31 Inda candidates as well as 3 sit-in participants from BPS of regency/municipality throughout South Sumatra. The training series started on January 11, starting with a Training Policy Overview and Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). The training will then continue with online distance learning starting from 15 – 18 January 2024.

This training aims to provide explanations and equalize perceptions regarding concepts and definitions, instrument updates, and the use of Computer - Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) in the field data collection.

On this occasion, the the Chief of Statistics of Sumatera Selatan Province expressed his thanks to the entire Sakernas team who had supervised the previous year's activities. He also advised that in implementing Sakernas in 2024 to always follow the business processes that have been developed. This is an effort to produce data with good quality, especially regarding employment indicators.
