Training for Officers of Quarterly and Annual Special Survey for Production Balance 2024

The quarterly GDP/GRDP and annual GDP/GRDP that are routinely produced by the Central Statistics Agency really require an understanding of sectoral data such as production data (production indicators), price data (price indicators), labor indicators, intermediate cost ratios, etc. as basic data. For this reason, the Special Quarterly Production Balance Survey (SKTNP) consisting of SKTNP Goods and SKTNP Services, as well as the Integrated Balance Survey (SINASI) were conducted in order to meet these data needs.

To ensure the uniformity of understanding of officers during data collection, BPS of Sumatera Selatan Province held training for officers of 2024 Quarterly and Annual Special Survey for Production Balance. This training was carried out in a hybrid manner, namely online on 4-5 March 2024 via zoom meeting and offline on 7 March 2024 at the Fave Hotel Palembang. On this occasion, Mrs. Tri Ratna Dewi, S.Sc., M.M. as Chair of the South Sumatra Province BPS Regional Balance Team gave a brief briefing to the training participants.

With this training, it is hoped that the data from the SKTNP and SINASI results can be used at both the provincial and district/city levels as indicators and basic data in calculating regional GDP, so that GDP/GRDP data in the future will be better.
