No foreign tourists visit South Sumatra in November 2020

Abstract

In November 2020, there were no foreign tourists (tourists) who visited South Sumatra through the entrance to the Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport in Palembang due to the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.

 
 Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in South Sumatra in November 2020 was recorded at 48.92 percent, or an increase of 1.37 points compared to the ROR for star hotels in October 2020 which was 47.55 percent. The ROR for star hotels in November 2020 occurred at four-star hotels by 60.20 percent and the lowest was for one-star hotels by 26.00 percent

 

  The average length of stay of all star hotel guests in November 2020 was recorded at 1.45 days, a decrease of 0.21 days compared to October 2020 which was 1.66 days.

  The average length of stay of foreign guests in November 2020 is 3.29 days, an increase of 1.54 days compared to October 2020 which was 1.75 days and the average length of stay of domestic guests in November 2020 is 1.44 days, down 0.22 days compared to October 2020 which amounted to 1.66 days.
