Abstract

South Sumatra Province in September 2021 experienced inflation of
0.06 percent, Calendar Year inflation (cumulative) until September 2021 is 0.77 percent. While “Year on Year” Annual Inflation (September
2021 against September 2020) by 1.84 percent. Dominant commodities that caused inflation in September 2021 in South Sumatra include: broiler meat, rice, house rent, cooking oil, tomatoes, dencis fish, and household fuel which experienced an increase in prices compared to the average price in August 2021. .

Palembang City in September 2021 experienced inflation of 0.05 percent, Calendar Year (Cumulative) inflation until September 2021 was
0.78 percent. Meanwhile, “Year on Year” Annual Inflation (September 2021 to
September 2020) by 1.84 percent.

Lubuk Linggau City in September 2021 experienced inflation of 0.23 percent, Inflation for the Calendar Year (Cumulative) until September 2021 was
0.67 percent. “Year on Year” Annual Inflation (September 2021 to September
2020) of 1.79 percent.

Indonesia in September 2021, based on price monitoring during September 2021 in 90 CPI cities, showed that 34 CPI cities experienced inflation. Meanwhile, 56 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation occurred in Pangkal Pinang City at 0.60 percent, the lowest in Surakarta at 0.01 percent. The highest deflation occurred in Gorontalo City at 0.90 percent, the lowest was in Palu City at 0.01 percent.
