Abstract
The rice
harvested area in 2021 is estimated at 492.04 thousand hectares, a decrease of
59.28 thousand hectares or 10.75 percent compared to 2020 which was 551.32
thousand hectares.
Rice
production in 2021 is estimated at 2,540.94 thousand tons of GKG, a decrease of
202.12 thousand tons of GKG or 7.37 percent compared to 2020 which was 2,743.06
thousand tons of GKG.
If the
potential for rice production in 2021 is converted into rice for the
population's food consumption, then rice production in 2021 is estimated at
1,451.63 thousand tons, a decrease of 115.47 thousand tons or 7.37 percent
compared to 2020 which was 1,567.10 thousand tons.

In 2022, the rice harvested area is estimated at 516.26 thousand hectares with a production of around 2,759.34 thousand tons of GKG
In 2024, the rice harvest area is estimated at 521.25 thousand hectares with rice production of around 2,842.56 thousand tons of milled dry grain (GKG).
In 2024, the rice harvest area will reach 521.09 thousand hectares with rice production of 2.91 million tons GKG.
In 2022, the rice harvest area will reach around 513.38 thousand hectares with production of 2,775.07 thousand tons of GKG
In 2020, the rice harvested area will be as big as 551.32 thousand hectares with a production of 2.74 million tonnes of GKG. If converted to rice, rice production is at 2020 to reach 1.57 million tons.
