Import

Imports of Sumatera Selatan in April 2024 were worth US$167.85 million, decreased by 13.58 percent compared to March 2024, and grew by 189.99 percent compared to April 2023.
Imports of oil and gas in April 2024 were US$1.69 million, decreased by 32.98 percent compared to March 2024, and decreased by 58.32 percent compared to March 2023.
Imports of non-oil and gas in April 2024 were US$166.16 million, decreased by 13.32 percent .
The big three largest trading partner countries in January until April 2024 were China for US$534.14 million (65.78 percent), Finland for US$109.48 million (13.48 percent), and Ivory Coast for US$28.87 million (3.56 percent).
Sumatera Selatan’s imports cumulatively during January–Sumatera Selatan’s balance of trade in April 2024 experienced a surplus of US$258.48 million, which affected by a surplus of non-oil and gas of US$223.56 million and a surplus of oil and gas of US$34.92 million in oil and gas.
