Workshop of National & Regional SUT Reconciliation at The Alana Hotel Surakarta

Supply and Use Table (SUT) is the best framework for preparing GRDP based on SNA 2008. The integrated framework in SUT is useful for analyzing data gaps through a balance mechanism for the supply and use of goods and services. SUT is able to provide a coherent picture of the relationship between business fields, economic actors and the products produced and is able to produce GRDP according to 3 approaches consistently.

Along with the adaptation of the change in the GDP/GRDP calculation method to be based on Chain Value Measures (CVM), the need to prepare SUT becomes increasingly important every year. To face these challenges, the Balance Sheet Team from BPS South Sumatra Province took part in the 2020-2021 National and Regional SUT Reconciliation Workshop which was held at The Alana Hotel & Convention Center, Surakarta-Central Java.

On that occasion, the South Sumatra Province BPS Balance Sheet Team succeeded in winning First Place in the Exciting Video Contest for Assistance in Preparing SUT held by the Deputy for Balance Sheets and Statistical Analysis of BPS RI. Congratulations and prizes were given directly by Mr. Puji Agus Kurniawan as Director of Production Balance.
